The downloader fetches HLS media segments in parallel inside your browser, retries failed ranges, then merges TS/fMP4 parts locally. Nothing is uploaded to our servers—the playlist URL and bytes stay on your device.
Best results come from stable HTTPS sources, reasonable concurrency (avoid hammering tiny CDNs), and streams you legally may archive. Encrypted HLS requires the key URI to be fetchable with CORS; if the key is blocked, download cannot complete.
When you need a single MP4 file for editors or LMS offline viewing, finish with the converter tool (ffmpeg.wasm remux/transcode in-browser). Prefer remux when codecs are already H.264/AAC for speed and quality.
